Antivirus:
We use Clam AntiVirus for Unix on all our servers. Some of the main features are: fast, multi-threaded on-access scanning, support for Zip, RAR, Tar, Gzip, Bzip2, OLE2, Cabinet, CHM, BinHex, SIS, MS Office and MacOffice files, HTML, RTF and PDF and others, virus database updated multiple times per day. It runs weekly but monitors real time access 24x7. Users can also run the Antivirus from their control panels any time the want. There is a button that allows them to do that.
Hacker Safe:
We use rkhunter to check for the presence of rootkits or any other unwanted tools on our systems. We check for updates to it daily and run complete scans every week. All unwanted scripts are immediately removed and the owner is notified.
